Glittered Christmas Cards by Sue Smyth

Red Robin Glittered Christmas Card

Today I am sharing a sweet little card made with Couture Creations Vintage Christmas paper pad

Cut out a small A 5 card and trim off one edge with a punch
Emboss Kraft cardstock with Moonlit Berries Wrapped in Joy C0723596
Dry brush with gesso and allow to dry.
Ink with green ink and paint in the berries with a cotton bud and Inka Gold red metallic paint
Adhere to card front.

Cut Scallop Circle from white cardstock with
and then the reverse of the robin paper from the pack with
fussy cut robin and place over scallop and circle as pictured.
finally apply a red bow along with
and
as pictured

Handy Hint if you love glitter like I do, lastly spray the entire card lightly with a paper
varnish and sprinkle with white glitter. This is a really great way to hide any mistakes lol.

Glittered Christmas Greeting Card

Today I have created a Christmas cards with Couture Creations 5 x 7 embossing folder  C0723597

This matches some of the images in the Couture Creations Vintage Christmas paper pad C0723551
So I have combined both to create a card with dimension

Emboss Kraft cardstock with Christmas Carols embossing folder
and gently rub over red ink

Dry brush edges with gesso.
Then rub with Inka Gold red metallic paste.
Adhere to a 5 x 7 red cardstock card

Trim out matching image from Vintage Christmas pack.
Use a crackle stamp to create crackle and swipe over with Dimensional magic, allow to dry
Matt with red cardstock
Adhere to card front with 3 D foam tape.
Decorate as desired with bakers twine and punched leaves and
Couture creations gems

Handy Hint use a white paint pen to fill in detail in images and faux stitching

Lastly spray the entire card lightly with a paper varnish and sprinkle over white glitter. For
a glittery sparkle.

December Daily Mini Album by Jo Piccirilli

Hey everyone!  Well Christmas time is well and truly upon us.  Didn't that sneak up on me!  We were set a little challenge this month on the DT to come up with something along the lines of December Daily.  For those that aren't sure what this is, it is like a journal that you record all the things you do in the lead up to Christmas.  Here is my take on it.

I have made like a file folder to put my pics on of what my little family gets up to in the weeks leading up to Christmas.  I used a heap of Couture goodies in this album.  On the front is the Irish Dreams Doily Die from the Fantasia Collection.  I have also used the Rudolph die and some glitter paper for a bit of sparkle.  The flourish is Moments in Time again using some glitter paper.  The "Merry Christmas" is just one of many pieces that an be cut from the paper pad.

I have used the 12 x 12 Vintage Christmas paper pad to cover my folder.  This has heaps of pieces that can be fussy cut and used as embellishments. Her is a look at the inside.

In the top corner I have used the Mistletoe die and added a few red gemstones to the centre for a bit of extra interest.  The two corner pieces are were cut again from glitter paper using the Clements die.

I have embossed some pearlised red cardstock with the Moonlit Berries embossing folder and created a pocket for some tags.

In the paper pad there is a sheet of paper with these Christmas sentiments on.  Perfect for to make simple and quick Christmas cards using my rectangle and scallop rectangle nesting dies.  Again I added the  holly at the bottom.  Once you have given your cards away you could then use this pocket for the Christmas cards you receive!

This next part of the album has lots of space for photos and journaling

I used another of the sheets in the paper pad that was like a Christmas countdown and cut them out as embellishments.

This last page opens up to give a little more room for more photos.  Again I have used the Moonlit Berries embossing folder and at the bottom is the Santa's Sleigh die.

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share.  Hope I have inspired you to have a go at your own December Daily.

Until next time

Candy Bottle by Pam Bray

Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is Thursday....but it is never to late to make a party favor or two....so today I would like to share with you the Candy Bottle I made to place at each guest place  setting.

I started with a small bottle and filled it with candy

Taking some pretty pattern paper that I used a decorative die on I placed Double Sided Tape on each piece and set them to one side

I ran a piece of Core'dinations paper through my embossing machine using the
Endless Embossing Folder

sanding it off lightly with my Sanding Block

I added the borders that I previously prepared to the embossed piece.

Placing a piece o the 18mm x 50mm Double Sided Tape at the end and a few pieces on the back side of the embossed band

This will help secure it to the bottle and make a nice finished closure to the border band when you place it around the bottle

Cut one of the Scallop Circles from pretty pattern paper and place on the lid o the bottle with your Double Sided Tape

Embossing a few of the leaves using the Endless Embossing Folder, sand them with your Sanding Block and fussy cutting each leaf out, setting them to one side to use on your Candy Bottle lid

Cut out several of the Sunflower from the Sunflower Nesting Die, spray with water, wad them up and allow them to dry completely

Add the leaves that you had set to one side to the top of the bottle, glue your Sunflower pieces that you have straighten up a bit to the top of the lid, make sure to keep them scrunched up....add a bronze gemstone to the center.

Wrap the brim of the lid with some pretty ribbon, add a few tags or even your guest name to the bottle and place at each of your table setting or give away after the days event.

I hope you have a fabulous and joyous Thanksgiving.
Hugs Pammejo

Merry Christmas by Pam Bray

Time to think about making your Christmas Cards and other family gifts...so what better way but than to get your Couture Creation Nesting Dies out along with the Wrapped in Joy Collection to make up a few cards....that is what I did when I made my Merry Christmas Card to share with you today.

I started by taking a rectangle piece of paper and using the smallest of the Nesting Circles I placed it on my cutting mat to make my first circle....

I proceed til I had three circles cut...to help them stay in line I used a bit of washi tape just to hold it into place.

I cut two scallop borders using my Nesting Scallop Retangles...

Placed them in my Moonlit Berries Embossing Folder and embossed....

and sanded them with my Sanding Block to help expose the core center....

After I had placed my papaer pieces on my cream card base using Couture Creations two sided tape I placed the circles that I had previous cut back on to the card front with Mounting Foam Tape...I love using double sided paper...this makes this technique so easy to do.

Here is a closer look the the circles on pop dots....

Love how the scallop border that has been embossed gives a bit more dimension to my card front.

I want the inside of my card to be as special as the front, so here is a peek at the inside, I placed the angel sicker to the bottom using Mounting Foam Tape from Couture Creations...I hope you try making a special inside of your cards.

I hope you enjoyed my first Merry Christmas card of the season and am looking forward to making my other holiday decorations this year.
Hugs Pammejo
