Miracle by Patti Hamil

Today I wanted to share a layout of our Granddaughter right after she was born! She is almost five months old now, time is passing too fast! I wanted a soft look so I kept the colors neutral with pink and a little bit of green.

Here are some close-ups of the details. I used the Poetry folder from the Elegance collection on a soft pink cardstock and then inked over it with white. It just suits the sweet photo!

I made the blooms from the Daisy Nesting Die! I used some chalk ink, Glitzin Glamour and Pearls!!!

Start by snipping into every second petal as shown below:

Trim each side of the double petals to look like the one below, ink across each section and in the center.

Add a pearl and Glitzin Glamour around it to finish off the bloom!

Taylor by Patti Hamil

Hi, I have a layout to share using some different Couture Creations products! I used a couple of dies and also a couple of folders! You can use these for accents and still get a big effect! I used scrap paper on this page, besides the dotted background. I added a couple of Coordinations tags and some alpha stickers.

This is our youngest son's fiance, and we are so happy to have her join our family!!! She is beautiful inside and out!

Here you see where I made some blue flowers with the Daisy Nesting die, and used one of the Sophia dies for the leaves! I added a self-adhesive pearl for the center. I also used a scrap of an embossed paper where I had used the Taylor embossing folder!!!

Here you see two more types of flowers made with the Daisy nesting die, and also some self-adhesive gems and another Sophia Intricutz die!!!! I added gems to some areas of the gold accent.

Here you see where I embossed two of the Coordinations tags with the Craisy Daisy folder!! I inked them lightly with white ink.

one more close-up.

This page came together using scraps and just a few accents! I like to go through my scrap pile and see what combinations I can come up with! Then adding some Couture Creations and you have a super page!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Christmas Snow Globe by Sue Smyth

Its that time of year again when we like to make small gifts and special cards for those friends and family who have everything. This is a project that I have done many times before and it always
looks stunning. Using an Acetate sheet, blue cardstock
and Couture Creations Embossing folders, you can create your
very own magical snow globe.

This time I have used Couture Creations Embossing folders to create a snowy scence suitable for
any snow globe.

I have used loads of glitter and white cardstock along with a reindeer punch.

Use the template below, print out on an A4 sheet. Cut out the semi circle
from bluish cardstock and emboss w

Brush over with gesso and spray with Dragonfly and Mallard Glimmer mists.

Cut out base from blue cardstock and emboss as well, rub over white gesso and spray with
glimmer mists. Allow to dry

Attach both ends, spray with spray adhesive and sprinkle with lots of
white glitter.

Attach base 1 to base 2 with masking tape.

Use template for globe, and cut on the fold to form the folded globe top.
Swipe with white
gesso and allow to dry

Emboss a small circle with Reindeer wipe with gesso and spritz
with glimmer mists.
Highlight the image with Glitzin Glamour, allow to dry.

Hand cut trees and punch out a reindeer to create a
snowy scene. Cut a rough circle of white cardstock, scrunch up, spray with Adhesive and
sprinkle with glitter. Allow to dry.
Glue the trees and deer onto this circle and attach to
snow globe base.
Decorate the front with paper snowflakes and Couture Creations rhinestones.
Cut out the embossed message of your choice and ink with blue ink.
Scrunch a bit and glue to front.
Use a white paint pen to apply small flakes around the edge of globe

Add pearlized sequin stars around the edge of globe and white fibres
around the base.

Cherish by Sue Smyth

I am sharing today a layout of my daughter, it is getting harder to take good photos of her, being a teenager, she despises having her photo taken now. I have taken a fairly lightly patterned paper, and swiped texture paste in the diagonal corners, while wet, I have pressed in Couture Creations Poetry embossing folder, remove it and wash off texture paste ASAP. Allow texture paste to dry and then brush randomly with gesso.
Spray with your choice of  mists and inks. I like to splat white ink around to create white light spots.

For the gold flourish I have cut out the Couture Creations Sophia Chinti die in light weight chipboard. Then I have embossed it twice with Gold embossing powder  for a thick lustrous gold look. If you have trouble cutting light weight chip, simply cut it out twice in cardstock and adhere together, as the die cut precisely, the two will glue together perfectly.

For leaves, cut out Couture Creations Sophia Connexion several times from Green cardstock, don't be afraid to trim them in half to make shorter stems, and add variety.

I hope you are inspired and join me next time with Couture Creations
