Miracle by Patti Hamil

Today I wanted to share a layout of our Granddaughter right after she was born! She is almost five months old now, time is passing too fast! I wanted a soft look so I kept the colors neutral with pink and a little bit of green.

Here are some close-ups of the details. I used the Poetry folder from the Elegance collection on a soft pink cardstock and then inked over it with white. It just suits the sweet photo!

I made the blooms from the Daisy Nesting Die! I used some chalk ink, Glitzin Glamour and Pearls!!!

Start by snipping into every second petal as shown below:

Trim each side of the double petals to look like the one below, ink across each section and in the center.

Add a pearl and Glitzin Glamour around it to finish off the bloom!

Taylor by Patti Hamil

Hi, I have a layout to share using some different Couture Creations products! I used a couple of dies and also a couple of folders! You can use these for accents and still get a big effect! I used scrap paper on this page, besides the dotted background. I added a couple of Coordinations tags and some alpha stickers.

This is our youngest son's fiance, and we are so happy to have her join our family!!! She is beautiful inside and out!

Here you see where I made some blue flowers with the Daisy Nesting die, and used one of the Sophia dies for the leaves! I added a self-adhesive pearl for the center. I also used a scrap of an embossed paper where I had used the Taylor embossing folder!!!

Here you see two more types of flowers made with the Daisy nesting die, and also some self-adhesive gems and another Sophia Intricutz die!!!! I added gems to some areas of the gold accent.

Here you see where I embossed two of the Coordinations tags with the Craisy Daisy folder!! I inked them lightly with white ink.

one more close-up.

This page came together using scraps and just a few accents! I like to go through my scrap pile and see what combinations I can come up with! Then adding some Couture Creations and you have a super page!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Christmas Kids by Sue Smyth

This Christmas layout is a little different using Hot pink, teal and white as a colour theme.
Couture Creations Jolly Christmas Paper pack has loads of papers suitable for this
colour theme.
I little trick here is if you do not have a photo to suit these colours, simply
have your Christmas photo printed in Black and White or Sepia as I have done.

Couture Creations Pink Blush pearls sit inside paper flowers nicely

Cut out circles from patterned paper, ink the edges and follow the steps below to
create cute baubles.

Snowy Baubles

Apply White dimensional paint to the tops of baubles.

Sprinkle with white glitter and allow to dry.

Christmas Is Coming by Lesa Bird

It's Starting to feel a little bit like Christmas, so today I've done a quick
Christmas 2013 cover page with the help of Couture Creations

First using Couture Creations Sanding block, I've sanded the edges of Core'dinations white wash cardstock for the base of my layout

Cut out 3 sizes of Circle Nesting Dies to make your baubles, I've used Core'dinations Glitter cardstock, for that touch of bling

For the top of our bauble, cut the second smallest Couture Creations Scallop Circle Nesting Dies, cut it in half, then into smaller bits to make the bauble tops

For a little extra shine, add a few Couture Creations Adhesive Gemstones, I've used Crystal

 Finished Baubles

Cut out 3 flourishes using Couture Creations Sophia Collection; ATHENA, and 2 Sophia Collection; PUCCI, hit the tips of your flourishes with a little Black Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue for a bit of pop

Use the 3 smallest Couture Creations Sunflower Nesting Die, cut half way down each side of all the petals, and then pinch each one together, to create our Christmas flowers, spray with a little adhesive and dust with glitter

Add at good amount of Rainbow Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue to the centre of your flower.

For my title I cover some Chipboard letters, in black paint, them covered them with Black Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue to add a little shimmer.

Now it's time to put it all together, to your style, hope you have fun.

Santas Little Helpers by Jo Piccirilli

Hi everyone!  Well we are now just one month or so away from Christmas!  How did that happen?  As you can see from this blog post I'm still scrapping last years photos!

For this layout I have used the 12 x 12 Premium Paper Pad - Vintage Christmas.  These paper pads are fantastic as they have lots of little pieces that can be cut out either by hand or using your nesting dies and used for embellishments.

I have embossed a red and green piece of Core-dinations cardstock and sanded it back to reveal a the kraft card underneath.  The red piece I have patched to make it a little bigger for my page and then managed to cover the seam with my photos and other embellishments.

Using the Alcyone Doily die  from the Royal Jewels collection I cut my doily in half and inked it before placing it in the top right and corner and the left hand side.

The two holly cuts are the new dies from the Magical Christmas Collection called Mistletoe.  I have just added some red gemstones to a centre of the holly to make it a little more "Christmassy".

Using cereal boxes I have cut out the Damaris die from the Sophia Collection.  I cut it twice and just stuck them together to give them a little more thickness and then inked over them and placed them under my photos.

I have also gone a little nuts with the hand stitching again!  This was done with my favourite tool that I just can't live without, my Paper Piercer from the 3 piece handheld tool set.

These photos are now so precious to me.  This was the last Christmas we got to spend with my dear father in law.  He passed away 3 weeks after Christmas.  Never did we think that it would be our last Christmas together!  Just goes to show - you can never have to many photos to scrap!

Thanks for letting me share.

Until next time
